What I’ve Learned About Success: Persistence is the key when we speak about achieving success, even it is personal, or professional. Every endeavor I pursue may not yield immediate results, but it’s the consistent effort and determination that eventually lead me to progress and accomplishment. Success often requires pushing through challenges, setbacks, and failures without losing sight of our goals. Each attempt, even if it does not bring the desired outcome, provides valuable lessons and insights that can guide me closer to success. So, what I do is to keep trying, keep learning, and keep moving forward, which then my resilience and perseverance is eventually paid off.
Whether personal or professional, success is built on persistence. I may not get instant results from everything I do, but my continued effort and determination will eventually lead to progress and success. It’s important to persevere through difficulties, setbacks and failures without losing sight of your goals. Every attempt, even if I don’t get what I want, teaches me something valuable and brings me closer to success. My strategy is to keep trying, learning and moving forward. My resilience and perseverance will ultimately lead to success.
What I’ve Learned About Mistakes: My attitude towards mistakes has evolved to embrace them as invaluable opportunities for growth and learning. I have come to understand that making mistakes is a natural part of the journey towards success, and each misstep offers a chance to gain wisdom and improve. Early in my career I had a tendency to say “yes” to every question and offer assistance to everyone who asked for it, even when I was already overwhelmed with my own tasks and responsibilities. I feared saying “no” would make me appear incompetent or unhelpful, so I stretched myself trying to accommodate everyone.
However, this approach eventually led to burnout and compromised the quality of my work. One day, I found myself unable to meet a crucial deadline because I had spread myself too thin, trying to fulfill too many obligations at once. The mistake taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of setting boundaries and prioritizing my own well being. I realized that saying “no” when necessary is not a sign of weakness but of self awareness and self care. By focusing on my own priorities and commitments, I could deliver better results and be of greater assistance to others when I was truly available. From that day moving forward, I adopted a more balanced approach, learning to assess my capacity realistically and communicate my limitations assertively. I found that by being honest about my availability and limitations, I earned respect from my colleagues and was better able to support them when it truly mattered. Today, I embrace the mantra that it’s ok to say “no” sometimes. I prioritize my own well being and commitments while still offering assistance and support to others when I can
What I’ve Learned About EBS: When I first joined EBS (I guess its almost 5 years), I had a basic understanding of the company’s structure and operations. However, as I immersed myself in various projects and collaborations, I quickly realized the breadth and depth of expertise that existed across different teams and departments.
I discovered that EBS is home to a diverse and multidisciplinary workforce, comprising individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. From software engineers to management people, each team member brings a unique set of talents and experiences to the table. What struck me the most is the collective passion and dedication of EBS employees towards the company’s mission and vision.
Another aspect of EBS that I have to appreciate is its culture of collaboration and teamwork. Despite working in different department, employees readily collaborate and support each other to achieve common goals. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas for a new process, troubleshooting technical issues, or coordinating project timelines, there is a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual respect that fosters a positive work environment.
Furthermore, I am impressed by EBS’s commitment to employee development and growth. From courses that EBS offers and training initiatives to opportunities for advancement and recognition, the company invests in nurturing talent and empowering employees to reach their full potential.
