What I’ve Learned About Overcoming Challenges:
New challenges often come with a significant psychological burden, at least in my case, as I tend to have a more conservative nature. Given this, I believe the most important aspect of overcoming a challenge is our mindset—it’s the motivation and inner confidence that we can and will overcome any obstacle. I admit that I’m still working on this, but the process is much more enjoyable when I have trustworthy friends and colleagues by my side. This leads to the second most important factor in tackling challenges: teamwork.
What I’ve Learned About Communication:
For a good part of my life, I neglected this aspect and didn’t give it much importance. However, over time, I came to understand that communication is an incredibly powerful tool, applicable across all areas and levels of society. This realization is largely thanks to the EBS team, where I’ve learned that a kind word, spoken at the right place and time, has the power to resolve conflicts, forge friendships, and open up new opportunities.
What I’ve Learned About Work-Life Balance:
Unfortunately—or perhaps fortunately—I don’t rely on a universal formula to achieve balance between work and personal life, nor do I know one. Yet I do consider myself lucky in this regard because I’ve largely avoided critical situations that would force me to choose between these two parallel paths. In my case, luck has a name, and she is the key factor helping me draw this line and adhere to these boundaries. My advice for everyone is to find that person (or people) who can help you leave your worries behind when you walk out the office door and who fill you with energy and motivation to tackle the challenges of the next day.
What I’ve Learned About Mistakes:
At first glance, it’s hard to imagine staying calm after making a mistake—it doesn’t feel natural. However, in my opinion, that’s exactly how we should respond to mistakes, as they are some of the best lessons we can learn. It’s crucial that immediately after an error, we focus all our efforts on fixing it and then draw the right conclusions. When it comes to learning from mistakes, I don’t mean only our own; I also value learning from those of others. That’s why I place a high importance on sharing experiences—both positive and negative—within the team.
What I’ve Learned About EBS:
I can confidently say that EBS has left a significant mark on me, shaping me both as a person and as a professional. In the relatively short time I’ve been part of the team, I’ve come to understand the company’s values and traditions, its history, and the way it has evolved. I’ve also seen the great challenges faced by the people here every day and the tremendous impact they have, not only on the modernization of our country but also on the IT industry as a whole. However, I believe that the most important thing I’ve learned is what the real magicians behind the curtain look like.
